President

Began his landscape career in 1980. Founded SHOWALTER LANDSCAPING & IRRIGATION, INC. in 1985. Over the years he has been active in landscape organizations and worked with the County in developing its Landscape Code. He is a strong proponent of continuing education in the Industry and has earned numerous certifications.

• Florida Certified Landscape Contractor # 30
  (He was the second person to successfully complete all parts of the test on his first try.)
• Florida Certified Landscape Designer # 18
  (Was in the first group of people to complete certification)
• Toro Certified Irrigation Professional #571-014

Sid is the salesman, designer, negotiator, buyer, project manager and good-will man. He will:

• give you his professional guidance in coming up with a good plan that will meet your needs
• take his time in answering any questions that you may have and discuss with you any problems that may arise before the job goes into the ground
• insure that the job is properly installed in a professional manner.
  Personal attention and seeing to it that your are happy with the job are his objectives.
  

Gilbert Tanguma
Foreman (the man that gets the job done)


Gilbert has more than 20 years of landscape experience and is very capable in getting the job done and done right. He was in the first group of landscape people to complete the Florida Certified Landscape Technician's exam. He has been employed with Showalter Landscaping since 1992.
